I am a Clinical Psychologist and an England Boxing Level 1 Coach.
Favourite Boxer:
Katie Taylor. I love that she is a quiet and humble person, but when she gets into the ring she destroys her opposition and is a truly inspirational fighter!
Favourite way to look after myself:
I am someone with a lot of energy and a very busy brain, so I go boxing or running to help calm down my mind and chill me out.
Dr Kathy Adcock
Founder & Clinical Psychologist

I have been involved with boxing for 17 years, starting when I was 6 years old. I've had 40 amateur fights and began to coach boxing in my teenage years.
Favourite Boxer:
Chris Eubank Sr. Boxing is about expressing yourself, something which Chris Eubank Sr never failed to do; a man who was true to himself. He also had many times in his life where he seemed to struggle to turn things around, yet with persistence and a commitment to boxing, he managed to.
Favourite way to look after myself:
Eating! You are what you eat, and also food is one of life's great pleasures, something you'll always be able to enjoy, no matter what stage of life you are in.
Rhys Verlander
Lead Boxing Coach, Fight Connect Project

I'm an elite level amateur boxer for London Community Boxing ABC, and a GB Boxing Awards Tutor.
Favourite boxer:
Katie Taylor because she's got the whole package - long range, close range, angles, head movement; whatever a fight needs she can pull it out of the bag!
Favourite way to look after myself:
When I'm in need of rest and recovery I swap out a training session for a light swim followed by a hot chocolate!
Ella Harris
Boxing Coach, In Your Corner

I am a Mental Health Specialist Practitioner: A talking therapist and mental health nurse with a special interest in neurodevelopmental difficulties.
Favourite boxer:
Joe Joyce - he is a heavyweight champion with a fine art degree. I was in his year at school and he was a friendly and warm person. I'm always rooting for him when he's fighting. Go Joe!
Favourite way to look after myself:
I love to stay active and always feel happier if I've gone for a run. I like to try new things – I’m currently playing a lot of chess and squash, but not at the same time! I love to hike long distance walks.
Henry Ker
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Nurse

I am an ex professional fighter, a combat coach and a certified personal trainer.
Favourite boxer:
Mike Tyson. He was the greatest talent to ever put on boxing gloves, destroying everyone in his prime. He also underwent amazing personal transformation to become one of the greatest motivators in sport.
Favourite way to look after myself:
I love walking and reading books. This clears my mind, and reminds me to be humble and work hard.
Aleks Toskov
Boxing Coach, In Your Corner

I have worked in digital marketing since graduating University. I am a huge fan of sports, in particular football, which I have played since I was little.
Favourite boxer:
I'm going to have to say Anthony Joshua, because he's from my home town!
Favourite way to look after myself:
I love being outside in nature, especially on my road bike, and visiting new places.
Jade Harewood
Business & Marketing Support

I am an England Level 2 Coach, and am starting my Level 3 in Autumn 2022. I am also a Level 4 Strength & Conditioning Coach. I coach at Rathbone and Hawley ABC.
Favourite boxer:
Joe Calzaghe. I loved his southpaw, fast-hands style as well as his approach to taking on any fighter, no matter what their reputation. Joe had a brilliant relationship with his Dad, Enzo, who was his coach throughout his career.
Favourite way to look after myself:
I like to train Olympic lifts and work on exercises for boxing and strength. I enjoy the feeling of having trained hard! I also love to read and learn new skills, both in my personal life and in my career.

I am currently studying MSc Psychology at the University of Westminster. I have been an amateur boxer, and have a huge passion for boxing.
Favourite boxer:
Nicola Adams. She is a two time Olympic gold medallist and was a major inspiration to me while I was boxing.
Favourite way to look after myself:
I love to get immersed in a good book. I also like listening to music and running.
Ruth Spencer-Lewis
Assistant Psychologist

Bailey is a kind-hearted golden retriever. She is In Your Corner's hype dog: Encouraging the team to give 100% and also looking out for our wellbeing, giving us a big cuddle when we need to de-stress.
Favourite Boxer:
Bailey's uncle, Jordon Harewood, is a competitive Muai Thai & K1 boxer and so he's her fave.
Favourite way to look after myself:
Bailey loves a long walk where she can sniff out lots of leaves and undergrowth; and lie down to chew a big stick. She also loves to eat, especially chicken and peanut butter.
